Sales Associate

The Basics

Melon Development is hiring a Sales Associate to help increase the reach of our products and services. Sales Associates work closely with potential clients during the onboarding flow to answer any questions they may have, help them find the right solutions, and match them with available project managers to take over the project.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Reach out to potential leads via email, phone, and social media who may be interested in Melon Development’s products and services

  • Research our target market and discover new leads and potential customers

  • Attend and schedule meetings with potential customers and convert them to closed sales

  • Build a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of new orders

  • Work toward monthly sales and revenue targets

  • Progress toward activity targets and KPIs

  • Enter all required details for sales into our internal systems

  • Document details necessary for us to send one-time and recurring invoices

  • Follow up with previous clients to cross-sell products and services

  • Provide assistance to other sales associated and team members

  • Follow up with leads generated by other team members

  • Investigate and solve queries from clients and potential customers


  • You must be 18 years old or older

  • Ability to create and maintain strong professional relationships

  • Adaptable to a quickly changing industry with constantly evolving client needs

  • Strong ability to communicate with others (in English)

  • Basic advertising knowledge (Google Ads, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

  • Experience with B2B sales

  • Ability to stay connected remotely using provided company accounts and apps

  • Experience maintaining and using a CRM system


  • Prior experience with Basecamp

  • Prior experience in the gaming industry

  • Prior experience working with content creators

  • A love of gaming
